SINGAPORE - If you cannot wrap your head around golfing equipment like wood, iron or putter, it is time to clear your mind.

That is because the mind is all you need to nail this particular birdie.

Neurogolf is one of the first golf video games that is played using mind control. With an electroencephalography (EEG) headset, players think of where they want to make the shot, and the game takes over.

Developed by British firm MyndPlay, the electronic game is designed to encourage players to visualise where they putt the golf ball, without the need to actually touch a real a golf club. The latest version has been modified by HSBC, as part of their publicity campaign for the upcoming HSBC Women's Champion golf tournament, often described as Asia's Major.
