LG unveils 100-inch Laser TV with smart capabilities

LAS VEGAS - LG has unveiled a 100-inch laser TV, which features smart capabilities, at the eve of International CES (formerly known as Consumer Electronics Show) 2013.

The laser TV includes a 100-inch screen and an external Ultra Short Throw (UST) projection unit capable of displaying full high-definition 1080p resolution images at short distances of about 56cm with up to 10,000,000: 1 dynamic contrast ratio.

It is also a Smart TV with built-in Wi-Fi, customisable dashboard and smart connectivity features, controlled by LG's new Magic Remote. The new Magic Remote allows you to control the TV via voice, gesture, point and wheel. are Two 10W built-in speakers are embedded in the projection unit to provide virtual surround sound.

Price and availability have yet to be announced.
