LAS VEGAS - Lenovo announced a strong line-up of Windows 8 touchscreen devices the day before the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, including an ultrabook convertible, the ThinkPad Helix, a 27-inch table PC, the IdeaCentre Horizon, and a mini ultrabook, IdeaPad Yoga 11S.

While there are other Windows 8 laptops with a removable screen that transforms into a tablet, the screen for the ThinkPad Helix can be re-attached forwards and backwards, depending on the user's preference.

The IdeaCentre Horizon table PC comes with accessories like a game controller and E-dice, to enhance user interface as a family gaming machine.

The IdeaPad Yoga 11S is the cousin to the IdeaPad Yoga 11, but runs on the full Windows 8, instead of the Windows 8 RT operating system.
