Apple launches lower-priced iPhone 5C, comes in a bevy of colours
Cupertino (USA) – Apple has come up with a cheaper iPhone 5C that has a plastic body and is slightly thicker than its new flagship iPhone 5S.
Available in pink, blue, yellow, green and white, the iPhone 5C has a polycarbonate exterior, made of the same material as the ones used on Samsung Galaxy devices, though the iPhone 5C's shell is crafted over a steel reinforced interior.
The iPhone 5C shares many similar specifications of the current iPhone 5, including the A6 processor, 4-inch Retina touchscreen display, and 8-megapixel rear camera.
It is slightly bigger than both the iPhone 5 and 5S, at 1.3mm thicker and 20g heavier. It also lacks the new fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 5S, and does not come in 64GB storage capacity models.
