Apple announces new iPod nano & iPod touch

SAN FRANCISCO - Along with the unveiling of the new iPhone 5, Apple also announced its new iPod nano and iPod touch on Thursday.

The new iPod nano is the thinnest iPod at only 5.4mm but features a 6.35cm multi-touch display. It also comes with a Home button and built-in Bluetooth.

The new iPod nano will be available in October and comes in pink, yellow, blue, green, purple, silver and slate for $198 (16GB model).

The new iPod touch sports the same 4-inch display as iPhone 5 with a five-megapixel iSight camera. It weighs a mere 88g and measure only 6mm thin.

It will be available in October and comes in pink, yellow, blue, silver and black for $398 (32GB model) and $548 (64GB model).

Pre-orders for both new iPod touch and iPod nano starts on Sept 14.
