The world No. 2 is in Singapore for a short private visit, and said on Thursday he wanted to rest after playing his first full season since 2005.
"I've played a ton of golf since the British Open (in July)," he told The Straits Times after conducting a putting clinic for local youngsters at the Marina Bay Sands.
"I was tired - it's my off-season now."
