Swimming: Jing-E breaks her third U-14 record, this time in the 400m IM

ANOTHER national Under-14 swimming record was broken on the final day of the 45th Singapore National Age Group Swimming Championships held at the Singapore Sports School.
Tan Jing-E, 13, broke Quah Ting Wen's 400m individual medley (IM) record with a time of 4min 58.21sec, smashing the previous mark by more than three seconds.
Quah's record was previously clocked in 2005 at the 4th Singapore Swimming Association's (SSA) Junior Age Group Championships.
It is Jing-E's third U-14 record of the meet, after she erased Joscelin Yeo's 21-year-old 200m IM and Chan Fang Yi's 100m backstroke marks earlier in the week .
