The Singapore Sports Hub is likely to officially open next May with the Beautiful Game.

At the unveiling of the new Premium Seats Membership, Sports Hub managing director Mark Collins hinted that the new 55,000-capacity National Stadium will kick off with a football match, saying: "The stadium will open with an event that is very close to the heart of the Kallang Roar."

He also added that the Sports Hub already has about 60 events confirmed in its calendar until December 2015.

The new National Stadium will have 1,655 Premium Seats, each costing $1,950 annually. Members of this hospitality programme will have first option to purchase tickets to events at the stadium. They will also be able to view the action from padded seats with armrests, have access to a lounge, a members-only carpark area and be able to enter the National Stadium via a private entrance lobby.
