Ahead of Tuesday's friendly against India, Singapore football coach Raddy Avramovic has called on the less-experienced members of his squad to step up and prove that they deserve spots in his team.

With preparations for next month's AFF Suzuki Cup picking up steam, the Lions will face 168th-ranked India without four players. Playmaker-captain Shahril Ishak, centreback Sevki Sha'ban, midfielder Safirul Sulaiman, as well as forwards Qiu Li and Agu Casmir are all injured.

"A few players won't be playing tomorrow, but it will be an opportunity for others," said Avramovic at a pre-match press conference on Monday. "Lots of them have been slowly coming into the national team, and it will be a good opportunity for them to establish themselves."

Tickets for the match will go on sale at the Choa Chu Kang stadium from 5pm on Tuesday and are priced at $10 (adults) and $2 (students and senior citizens).
