Singapore draws Syria, Oman and Jordan in 2015 Asian Cup qualifiers

SINGAPORE will face three Middle Eastern opponents in the qualifiers of the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.
The Lions were placed in Group A along with Jordan, Syria and Oman after Tuesday's draw in Melbourne.
The Republic will open its campaign away to old foes Jordan on Feb 6 next year. The two sides also met in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, with Jordan winning those games 2-0 and 3-0.
The Asian Cup finals will be held in Australia for the first time from 4 to 26 Jan 2015.
