Singapore's Shayna Ng can now call herself a world champion.

The 23-year-old clinched the women's title at the QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Poland on Saturday.

She had to do it the gritty way by coming from behind to beat Guerra Aumi.

Ng lost the first game when she posted 224 pinfalls to the Dominican Republic kegler's 269. But the Singaporean came storming back in the second game (267-259) before taking the third (247-169) to become the Republic's first World Cup champion since Jasmine Yeong-Nathan captured the crown in Mexico.
