S-League title race goes down to the wire after DPMM win

BRUNEI DPMM forced the Great Eastern-YEO'S S-League title race to a final day shoot-out, with a 3-1 win over Hougang United at the Hougang Stadium on Wednesday night.
Vjeran Simunic's side fell behind to an early Jordan Webb goal but came storming back with strikes from Azwan Saleh, Patrick da Silva and Ampuan Nurul Azami.
The win moves the Bruneians on to 48 points, one behind leaders and defending champions Tampines Rovers. Both sides each have one game left, slated to be played simultaneously on Nov 2. DPMM host Balestier Khalsa in Bandar Seri Begawan, while the Stags will meet Malaysia's Harimau Muda at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
Tampines, who also face Singapore Armed Forces FC in Sunday's RHB Singapore Cup final, need only match DPMM's result against Balestier to win their second successive title.
