Singapore fell to a 0-2 loss to the Philippines in an international friendly at the Jurong West Stadium on Friday night.
Emelio Caligdong and Philip Younghusband scored for the visitors, with midfielder Stephan Schroeck having a hand in both goals.
For the Lions, the loss brought them crashing back to earth following last month's 2-0 win over Hong Kong.
They next travel to Myanmar for a friendly on Tuesday, as their preparations for the year-end AFF Suzuki Cup continue.
