ATLANTA (AFP) - Atlanta's Kyle Korver set an NBA record by draining a three-pointer in his 90th consecutive game as the Hawks beat Cleveland 108-89 on Friday.

Korver's three-pointer in the first quarter broke the mark of 89 games in a row which was set by Dana Barros in 1996.

"There have been so many great shooters in the NBA so anytime you are able to be a part of something like this it says something," said Korver, who had 10 points.

Korver, who is an 11-year veteran, missed his first three-point attempt Friday before nailing the record-breaker.
