Mancini: No Balotelli punishment for altercation
LONDON (AP) - Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says Mario Balotelli will not be punished for their training ground altercation, and still has a future with the Premier League champions.
In the latest chapter of Balotelli's volatile City career, Mancini was pictured on Thursday grabbing the Italy striker's training bib before the pair had to be separated.
But Mancini insists "there was no fight" and only lost his temper because his compatriot "didn't want to leave the pitch".
When asked if Balotelli would face any disciplinary action, Mancini said: "No, no... this is something that can happen."
