THE LionsXII have made it two wins out of two, after beating Selangor 1-0 in their Malaysian Super League home opener on Saturday evening.
Striker Fazrul Nawaz opened his account for the Singapore outfit, heading in from close range after a corner in the 24th minute.
The match at the Jalan Besar Stadium was littered with feisty tackles but saw few clear-cut scoring opportunities.
The visitors were largely restricted to long-range efforts which were easily dealt with by LionsXII goalkeeper Izwan Mahbud.
The LionsXII, who started the season by beating ATM FA 1-0, next face PKNS FC at the Shah Alam Stadium on Tuesday.
