Golf: Singapore's Quek one shot behind leading trio at Rahman Putra Masters

Singapore golfer Quincy Quek was just one shot behind the leaders after the third round of the PGM CCM Rahman Putra Masters in Selangor on Friday.

The 25-year-old, who is looking for his second Asian Development Tour (ADT) title, fired a two-under 70 (209 total) for joint-fourth spot.

Three players top the leaderboard with three-day totals of 208. They are Japan's Mitsuhiko Hashizume (72), Myanmar's Zaw Moe (67) and Swede Malcolm Kokocinski (69).

Singaporean veterans Mardan Mamat (71) and Lam Chih Bing (73) are four strokes adrift of the leaders. The duo share ninth place with four other players at the Rahman Putra Golf Club.

The RM200,000 (S$80,000) event is the first ADT tournament to receive world ranking points in the 2013 season.
