MAUI, Hawaii (AFP) - The 2013 United States (US) PGA Tour season finally got going on Monday, with Dustin Johnson opening up a three-shot lead as 30 golfers played the first two rounds of the Tournament of Champions.

High winds prevented any rounds from being completed from Friday to Sunday on the par-73 Plantation Course at Kapalua.

The tournament, reduced to 54 holes, is now slated to end on Tuesday.

Johnson emerged from the Monday marathon on 11-under par 135 after posting rounds of 69 and 66.
