Football: Trinidad international Akeem Adams in 'critical' condition after heart attack
BUDAPEST (AFP) - Trinidad and Tobago international Akeem Adams has suffered a heart attack in Budapest where he plays for Hungarian top-flight side Ferencvaros, his club said Friday.
"Akeem's condition remains very critical," the club's managing director Pal Orosz told Hungarian television Digi Sport, while a statement on the club's website said the player's state was "still critical, life threatening".
Adams, 22, suffered the heart attack at his Budapest home late Wednesday after a training session and a team meal, various media reports said.
The player managed however to alert his team-mates, who called an ambulance.
