Football: Spurs striker Roberto Soldado confident that he can succeed in EPL
LONDON (AFP) - Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado has vowed that he will prove a hit at White Hart Lane after making an underwhelming start to his career in English football.
The 28-year-old Spain international signed from Valencia in August but has failed to hit the heights so far.
Having scored only three times from open play in all competitions, with a further three goals coming from penalties, he admits that there is room for improvement.
Asked if he was satisfied with his goal return, Soldado told today's edition of British newspaper The Daily Telegraph: "No. Definitely not. Much less. A lot of my goals have come from the penalty spot.
