Football: Singapore outclassed by Jordan in Asian Cup qualifier

ASEAN champions Singapore opened their Asian Cup qualifying Group A campaign today with a humbling 4-0 defeat by Jordan.

It was the Lions' worst loss to the Jordanians in six encounters.

Abdallah Deeb (18th minute), Khalil Bani Attiah (52nd) and Ahmed Hayel (55th, 74th) scored for the hosts in Amman.
