Football: Fabregas wants to stay at Barcelona, dealing blow to United's hopes of signing him
KUALA LUMPUR (AP) - Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas said on Thursday he wants to stay at the Catalan football club, dealing a major blow to Manchester United's hopes of signing the former Arsenal star.
United have had their attempts to sign Fabregas rejected by Barcelona, although the Premier League champions were reportedly considering trying again.
"It is a huge, huge dream, that I have had since I was a kid, to succeed at Barcelona and nothing has changed or altered at any moment," he said.
"Things have been invented but I have always been very calm.
