Football: Bored sub Kaka wants to leave Real
MADRID (AP) - Real Madrid midfielder Kaka says he wants to leave the Spanish club after seeing that his role as a bench player has not changed under new coach Carlo Ancelotti.
He said: "I have less and less of a place on the team...the club knows that I would like to leave and I want it to help me find a solution."
The 31-year-old Brazilian will have until Monday to secure a transfer.
Kaka joined Madrid from AC Milan in 2009 for 65 million euros (S$109.6 million). But after injuring his left knee, he was never able to establish himself as a first-choice player under former coach Jose Mourinho.
