Football: Arsene Wenger not concerned by Arsenal's TV critics
LONDON (AFP) - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says he does not mind that some television pundits have written off his side's chances of going the distance in this season's English Premier League title race.
The London football club lead the English top flight by four points after 13 matches, as they bid to end a nine-year wait for the league crown.
Former Liverpool defender Alan Hansen and former Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer, both pundits on BBC's Match of the Day highlights programme, have claimed that Arsenal will struggle to maintain their early-season form.
However, while Wenger admits that he occasionally watches the programme, he says that the opinions expressed on it do not necessarily carry weight.
