SAITAMA, Japan (AFP) - European champions Anna Cappellini and Luca Lanotte of Italy won the ice dance title at the world figure skating championships on Saturday by two hundredths of a point.

They scored a personal best of 105.73 points in the free dance to finish on 175.43 points overall, with Canada's Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje on 175.41.

France's Nathalie Pechalat and Fabian Bourzat finished third on 175.37, just 0.06 point off the winners.
