Cricket: Pakistan's new Twenty20 Super League postponed

ISLAMABAD (AP) - The Pakistan Cricket Board has postponed its first ever professional Twenty20 league indefinitely after complaints from investors over tight bidding deadlines and from players over scheduling conflicts.

The Pakistan Super League was scheduled to run from March 26 to April 6.

But managing director Salman Sarwar Butt says on Friday that stakeholders expressed concerns over a tight timeline for submissions of bids.

Butt also says the competition dates conflicted with some players' international schedules.
