LONDON (AFP) - Portuguese international defender Jose Bosingwa's future at English Premier League strugglers QPR remained in the balance on Tuesday after the club's manager Harry Redknapp refused to say whether he would play for the side again.
Bosingwa has attracted both Redknapp's and the fans' ire since he refused to sit on the substitute's bench for the Premier League game with Fulham earlier this month - it led to him being fined two weeks' wages or 130,000 pounds (S$256,000) by the manager and dropped from the squad for last weekend's game with Newcastle.
Redknapp, though, admitted on Tuesday the incident was still playing on his mind.
"It disturbed me when a player doesn't want to sit on the bench when you are bang in trouble," said the 65-year-old Englishman.
