Beckham sets up goal on dream debut for PSG

PARIS (AFP) - David Beckham came off the bench to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut in Sunday's 2-0 win over arch-rivals Marseille at the Parc des Princes and helped set up the crucial second goal.

The former England skipper replaced Argentina's Javier Pastore in the 76th minute with PSG 1-0 ahead at the time.

Beckham, 37, had started the match on the substitutes bench where he struggled to keep warm in the snowy, freezing conditions.

But he played a key role in the injury-time second goal as his pass with the outside of the boot released Jeremy Menez, who found Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the goal.
