MUNICH, Germany (AFP) - Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng has said the Bavarians' Germany stars are eager to get back to Bundesliga business on Saturday to erase the memories of Germany's shock 4-4 draw with Sweden.

Munich are chasing a record eighth straight win at Fortuna Duesseldorf on Saturday which would set a new Bundesliga record for the most games won at the start of a season.

While honorary president Franz Beckenbauer admitted he was left laughing at home in front of his television "over this crazy game", Bayern's Germany star Boateng struggled to see the funny side on Thursday.
