Asian Youth Games: Samantha, Nur Marina add two more silvers to S'pore's medal haul

Swimmer Samantha Yeo bagged a silver at the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing when she clocked 2min 33.72sec in the girls' 200m breaststroke event on Friday.
The Singaporean finished behind South Korea's Yang Ji Won (2:27.74) but ahead of Hong Kong's Jamie Yeung (2:34.80). The 16-year-old breaststroke specialist had also claimed the gold in the 50m and took a silver in the 100m event.
Team-mate Nur Marina Chan then added another silver to the haul, clocking 57.56 seconds in the girls' 100m freestyle. South Korean Miso Ko came in first with 56.76 while Chinese Taipei's Lierr Mo took the bronze with a 58.47-sec effort.
Darren Lim, however, missed out on a medal in the blue-riband 100m freestyle when he finished fourth, clocking 51.54 - just 0.02sec slower than bronze medallist Matthew Duncan Abeysinghe of Sri Lanka.
