Asian Youth Games: Quah Zheng Wen wins 200m IM, his third gold this week
Singapore swimmer Quah Zheng Wen clinched his third gold at the Asian Youth Games (AYG) in Nanjing by winning the boys' 200m individual medley.
The 16-year-old stopped the clock at 2min 4.86sec, 1.72sec faster than South Korea's Lee Hoh Yun on Thursday night.
Vietnam's Tran Duy Khoi was third, 1.78sec behind Zheng Wen.
This marks the 16-year-old Singaporean's third gold at the AYG. He won the 200m butterfly on Monday and two days later, took another gold in the 200m backstroke.
