Officers from the Clementi Neighbourhood Police Centre nabbed two suspects, aged 13 and 17, believed to be responsible for a series of bicycle thefts.

On Feb 25, police received a report of two secured bicycles missing from the void deck of Block 435 Clementi Ave 3. Officers identified the two youths through investigations around the neighbourhood, and detained them.

The suspects are believed to have been involved in other cases of bicycle theft. Three bicycles believed to be stolen have since been recovered.

In a statement on Wednesday, the police advised the public to keep their bicycles at home, secure them to a bicycle rack or label their bicycles with a security label available at their neighbourhood Police Centre for free.
