REMY MARTIN CENTAUR DANCE SHOWDOWN 2012
The search is on for a Singapore's dance team to compete in the Remy Martin Regional finals (Centaur Dance Showdown against Malaysia, India, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines at Zirca nightspot in January for a chance to be crowned Asia's Best Dancing Crew and walk away with US$10,000 (S$12,270). Remy Martn's new celebrity ambassador, Jolin Tsai, will be here to judge and perform at the event. A NIGHT OF POETRY & MUSIC: THE BEST OF SINGAPORE PIONEER POETS

Ten established Singapore playwrights who were invited to reflect on their experiences as theatre-makers and their notions of perfection, then captured a perspective of life on earth, in Singapore and in the theatre, through their own 10 stage items from their past productions. HISTORICAL BUS TOUR
History buffs and tourists can learn about the history of familiar roads, such as Scotts and Cuppage Road and areas, such as Dhoby Ghaut and Bras Basah at this historic bus tour where they can listen to stories about early colonial settlement and the Raffles Town Plan. The tour include visits to a Hindu Chettiar Temple, a colourful Chinese Temple and the oldest mosque here. MERLION & I: AN INSPIRING JOURNEY (LIGHTSHOW TO MARK THE MERLION'S 40TH BIRTHDAY)
After a two-month makeover, the rejuvenated Merlion, will star in its own specially choreographed lightshow tracing how it had evolved to be a beloved Singapore icon over the past 40 years as the highlights of its 40th birthday celebrations. It comes with heartwarming stories, dazzling light projections, sound and pyrotechnics. This musical celebration will feature up to six shows daily. The music and lyrics for the show was written by music director Kenn Chua. The song will be accompanied by hip hop and street jazz choreographed by Ryan Tan.
