Creatives raring to make a difference can answer the National Climate Change Secretariat's (NCCS) call for short videos that can inspire action.

The group is looking for students and members of the public to submit short videos to inspire people to do something about climate change in this year's National Climate Change Competition. This marks the first time in the competition's four years that members of the public can take part.

Those interested can register for the competition under the Schools Category or the Open Category at by April 22. They stand to win up to $5,000. Selected videos may also be adapted for screening in cinemas.

Two 'Viewers' Choice' awards will also be given to the most popular videos from each category, according to a public voting exercise on NCCS's Climat Change SG Facebook page. Results will be announced in an award ceremony in November.
