Upgrading works have been completed at an important control centre here which helps ships to navigate safely in Singapore waters.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) on Wednesday re-commissioned the Port Operations Control Centre (POCC) at PSA Vista in Pasir Panjang.

The system integrates data from various sources such as radar, closed-circuit television, ship databases, and other ship identification and tracking systems.
