TWO participants from Singapore are now one step closer to being a panda ambassador for a year.

Miss Chang Li Lin, a 24-year-old auditor, and Mr Samuel Lam, a 21-year-old medical student, are among the four winners from the Asia-Pacific regional semi-finals who have made it to the Chengdu Pambassador 2012 finals. Miss Chang holds a Taiwanese passport, but she was born in Singapore and lives here.

The other finalists from the Asia-Pacific region are assistant marketing manager Konnie Tsang, 27, from Hong Kong and political science student Lei Hung, 20, from Taiwan.
