Tutor who sexually assaulted 7 boys blames ghost

A tutor who sexually assaulted seven boys and then claimed a "ghost" made him do it was jailed for 15 years on Friday.

The 51-year-old also took obscene videos and photographs of three of the victims at his tuition centre in northern Singapore. He later told psychiatrists that a boy's ghost had instructed him to carry out the abuse.

But Justice Woo Bih Li told him on Friday: "It seems to me that you have to take primary responsibility for your conduct."

The court heard that the abuse took place from 2007 to 2009, and involved boys aged between eight and 15.
