Trust in public institutions set to dominate Monday's Parliament sitting
The issue of trust and confidence in public institutions will loom large over Monday's Parliament sitting, with 11 MPs tabling questions.
It comes after recent high profile prosecutions against senior civil servants, including an anti-corruption officer being charged in court a fortnight ago for allegedly siphoning $1.7 million between 2008 and last year.
The director of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau, Mr Eric Tan, will also be replaced when his term ends in September after supervisory lapses that led to the scandal.
Several procurement lapses were also uncovered in the public sector in the past year.
