Plastic surgeon Woffles Wu, 52, was behind the wheel of a car that was detected for speeding on two separate occasions in 2005 and 2006.
The Attorney-General’s Chambers said in a brief statement on Thursday that investigations by the Traffic Police have confirmed this.
Dr Wu, 52, was the driver on both occasions when he asked an elderly employee of his to take the rap for the speeding offences.
The AGC had completed and proceeded first with the charge of abetting his employee Kuan Yit Wah, now 82, to falsely declare he was the driver of the speeding car. It then continued investigating who was driving the car at the time, and established that it was Dr Wu.
