Tiger Airways' Singapore boss Stewart Adams has quit.

The news, announced on Wednesday, comes just days before the airline welcomes its new group chief executive Koay Peng Yen, 46, on Friday.

The first big job for the shipping veteran will be to find a replacement for Mr Adams, managing director of Tiger Airways Singapore.

Mr Adams, who joined in January 2011, is leaving at the end of the year to pursue his personal interests, the budget carrier said.
