The body of the 17-month-old baby boy who was found floating near Bedok Jetty on Monday night, was claimed by his father on Wednesday afternoon from the Singapore General Hospital mortuary.

He declined comment when approached by the media.

The infant's mother, Lim Ann Nee, 44, was arrested and charged with murder on Tuesday. If convicted, she could face the death penalty.
