A TransCab taxi rammed into a railing by the side of the road on Thursday and ended up on its side on the pavement, a short distance away from a nearby bus stop.

Its driver was sent conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, said police, who received a call at about 7.13 am about an accident at the junction of Serangoon Garden Way and Chepstow Close.

Investigations are ongoing.
