Supreme Court Judge Philip Pillai to retire on Dec 12
Supreme Court Judge Philip Pillai will be calling it a day after three years in the public service.
He will retire on Wednesday, when he reaches the age of 65 years.
Justice Pillai was first appointed as Judicial Commissioner on Oct 1, 2009 and later as a Supreme Court Judge on Jun 1, the following year.
"During his judicial tenure, Justice Pillai has made outstanding contributions to the Supreme Court, the Legal Service and the legal profession," said the Supreme Court in a statement on Tuesday morning.
