The Subordinate Courts may be renamed to the State Courts of Justice, to "enhance its standing".
Judges may also be required to wear robes in open Court.
This was the feedback given by the Chief District Judge Tan Siong Thye to Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon when asked on ways to enhance the standings of the Courts.
Judge Tan also raised the need for more resources.
