Singapore’s second-biggest telco StarHub posted a 11 per cent rise in net profits to $87 million for the three months to June 30, on higher revenues across its business lines.

Total revenue grew 4 per cent to $591 million from the same quarter a year ago.

The company’s biggest source of income - mobile revenues - grew 1 per cent year-on-year to $306.2 million for the quarter. A 3 per cent rise in its post-paid mobile revenue offset a 6 per cent decrease in its pre-paid business.

Its pay TV revenue registered the highest jump of 12 per cent to $103.7 million for the quarter. The Uefa Euro 2012 broadcast in June led to higher pay TV revenue for the quarter, with Arpu increasing $5 to $54.
