Ms Pang Chor Mui, the star witness in the corruption trial of ex-Singapore Civil Defence Force chief Peter Lim Sin Pang, arrived in court on Tuesday morning for her second day on the stand.

She will continue to be questioned by the prosecution and is likely to be cross-examined by the defence counsel on Tuesday afternoon.

The prosecution has made an application to substitute parts of Ms Pang's court testimony with what she said in three of her CPIB statements.

Lim, 52, is said to have obtained oral sex from Ms Pang, 49, in May 2010, in exchange for furthering the business interests of her then employer, Nimrod Engineering.

It was because of the tryst, said the prosecution, that Lim tipped her off about a tender for radiation monitors that the SCDF put out in April 2011
