The Straits Times tops survey of advertisers and marketers
A MAGAZINE survey has found The Straits Times to be the preferred newspaper of advertisers and marketers.
The daily stayed on top of the annual Newspaper of the Year survey conducted by trade magazine Marketing, which polled 216 advertising agencies and companies' in-house marketers.
The survey results, which were released on Monday, also placed the broadsheet's Sunday edition, The Sunday Times, sixth.
Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), which publishes The Straits Times, also saw its other newspapers do well. In total, seven of its publications made the top 10 list - up from five last year - a result hailed by a SPH spokesman as one proving its "undisputed strength in print media."
