Singapore is in good stead to seize opportunities in the market for business analytics.
The country has the expertise, talent and the infrastructure for analytics, as well as a pro-business climate, said Mr S. Iswaran, who is Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister for Home Affairs and Trade and Industry.
He was speaking at the opening of the Business Analytics Translational Centre (BATC) on Wednesday.
BATC is a centre initiated by Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star) and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) which aims to aid companies use cutting-edge business analytics tools to mine and manage big data, so as to gain insights and drive bottom-line growth.
