SMRT adds wheelchair access on three more bus routes

Three more SMRT bus services will be accessible to wheelchairs users from July 7.

These are services 902, 965 and 969, said the public transport operator on Monday.

The buses will connect passengers to MRT stations, including Woodlands, Tampines and Yishun stations.

The three new services bring the total number of wheelchair-accessible bus services run by SMRT to 34, half of the routes operated by the company. Each bus can accommodate one to two wheelchairs.
