Six hurt as cab collides with lorry on Mandai Road

Six people were injured in a dramatic accident involving a taxi and a lorry on Mandai Road on Saturday night.

The accident took place at about 9.40pm along the stretch towards Woodlands Road.

A Singapore Civil Defence Force spokesman said that six people were sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Four of them had minor injuries such as cuts and bruises.

The other two were a 46-year-old man, believed to be a cab passenger, who complained of chest pains, and a 13-year-old girl who was believed to have suffered a spinal injury.
